1. WHAT IS THE DELIVERY TIME?
It usually takes around 10-12 working days to have your knee brace made. Once we receive your order it is then sent to the manufacturing facility to be individually custom built then returned to us to be pimped!
2. WHAT HAPPENS IF MY LEG SHAPE CHANGES?
The Rebel® custom made knee brace is manufactured specifically to your leg shape. Each brace comes with a year’s fit guarantee. If your leg shape changes so that the brace no longer fits you can re-measure and have a new brace made free of charge within that 12 month period.
3. CAN MY BRACE BE USED IN WATER?
YES! Rebel® custom knee braces are non-corrosive and have been designed with water sports in mind. If you will be using the brace in salt water, make sure to rinse the brace and the straps with clean water after each use to remove any salt or debris that might remain. TIP: to prolong the life of your knee brace we recommend you spray a silicone based lubricant into the hinges.
4. IS THE BRACE SUITABLE FOR CONTACT SPORTS?
YES! The Rebel® knee brace is made from rigid high strength T6 aerospace grade alloy, which can withstand high impact forces. You may also need to order our knee impact and hinge guards which will provide further knee protection.
5. WILL THE BRACE RUB AGAINST MY SKI OR MOTOCROSS BOOTS?
NO! When ordering your Rebel® custom brace simply select the ‘short’ (13”) frame length, this will ensure your brace does not rub against boots or bindings.
6. CAN I WEAR IT OVER CLOTHING?
Ideally the brace should be worn directly onto the leg or over a low profile garment, such as a brace undersleeve or a wetsuit if required.
7. HOW LONG WILL THE BRACE LAST?
The frame and hinge should last a lifetime, however the soft goods (straps & pads) will wear over time and will need to be maintained. All parts can be removed and easily cleaned.
Note: Our Rebel® custom braces comes with a lifetime guarantee on the frame and hinges and a three months guarantee on the soft goods.
8. DO I NEED MY BRACES FITTED BY A PROFESSIONAL?
Not necessarily, as the Rebel® custom brace is designed to be easily fitted with minimal adjustments. However, should you prefer to have your brace fitted by one of our exeperts, we offer a FREE knee brace fititng service at our Newport, South Wales offices - Simply email or call us to make an appointment.
9. CAN I REPLACE THE PARTS?
YES! You can order replacement parts by emailing us – Alternatively you can select spare liners and straps when configuring and ordering your Rebel® knee brace.
10. CAN I CHANGE THE COLOUR OR DESIGN OF MY BRACE AT A LATER DATE?
YES! For an additional charge, you can send your Rebel® custom back to us to be re-pimped!
11. CAN I PART EXCHANGE MY OLD KNEE BRACE?
YES! Our part exchange service enables you to exchange your old brace (subject to condition) towards one of our Rebel® custom braces. To receive a quote click on 'Sell Your Brace' page.
12. DO YOU OFFER INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY?
YES! We offer a worldwide shipping service which is charged at a fixed rate of £25.00.
